This spring Beale Street Music Festival will return for the 41st time to Tom Lee Park on the banks of the Mississippi River in Memphis, TN during the weekend of May 5 – May 7. Put on by Memphis in May International Festival, a not for profit community based organization, organizers are famous for delivering an affordable eclectic lineup while continuing to honor Blues and Rock’n’Roll in the city that started it all.

Headliners topping this year’s lineup will be Kings of Leon, Soundgarden, Snoop Dogg, Widespread Panic, Wiz Khalifa, MGMT, Death Cab For Cutie, Sturgill Simpson, and Jill Scott.

“We take great pride in the eclectic mix of artists we present to our patrons and music fans each year,” said James L. Holt, President and CEO of Memphis in May. “From the rock and blues our city is known for to the many diverse and popular musical genres today, we have something for almost every musical taste at the Beale Street Music Festival. We are especially pleased to present recent Grammy winners Sturgill Simpson and Ziggy Marley as part of the 2017 festival.”

Other highlights on the 2017 lineup include Grouplove, Ludacris, X Ambassadors, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Tori Kelly, Ziggy Marley, The Revivalists, Silverson Pickups, GRiZ, Jimmy Eat World, Greensky Bluegrass, Sum 41, The Strumbellas, Drive-By Truckers, Mutemath, KONGOS, Highly Suspect, Bush, Mayer Hawrthorne, Midnight Oil, Ani Difranco, Dawes, John Paul White, Deer Tick, Taking Back Sunday, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Booker T. But again, it’s the affordability of Beale Street Music Festival that makes it stand out among many other North American music festivals. 3-Day passes are currently on sale for a modest $105 and can be purchased here. And yes, that is the price for all three days, not just one.  Make sure you’re following Beale Street Music Festival on Facebook and Twitter for future announcements including set times.
