Here Comes Karoondinha: Major New Camping Festival Launching In Pennsylvania

It’s part music festival, part outdoor adventure, and an entirely new take on the festival experience. Organizers have officially announced Karoondinha Music & Arts will debut in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania this summer, and are promising a weekend of music and art “unlike any other festival”.

Taking place July 21st to July 23rd at Penn’s Cave and Wildlife Park, Karoondinha boasts one of the most serene festival settings in North America.

A popular tourist attraction, the 1600+ acre park offers lush meadows, rolling rivers and ancient, shimmering caves. Karoondinha will certainly be the first American festival where you can watch your favorite underground band perform underground.

Situated between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Karoondinha will showcase over 80 artists across multiple genres. The initial lineup arrives first thing in the morning on February 27th. Tickets go on sale March 1st.

Fans are encouraged to sign up at Karoondinha’s site to stake your spot in a “super crazy”, “super exclusive” presale. You can also follow the festival on both Facebook and Twitter.

Next week, we sit down with Karoondinha organizers Hawk Eye Presents to get the full scoop on the lineup, the Karoondinha experience, and how exactly to pronounce Karoondinha. Stay tuned!
