Fans of Louisville KY’s Forecastle Festival who were expecting just a handful of small print additions to their 2017 lineup today were certainly shocked this morning when organizers made their announcement and exceeded all possible expectations. Additions include Sturgill Simpson, Spoon, Phantogram, Tycho, Capital Cities, Real Estate, What So Not, K. Flay, Classixx, Whitney, and more.
Those acts will join an already impressive 2017 lineup that features LCD Soundsystem, Weezer, ODESZA, Cage The Elephant, PJ Harvey, Run The Jewels, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, GRiZ, X Ambassadors, Vince Staples, Conor Oberst, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Modern Baseball, Cashmere Cat, Judah and the Lion, Foxygen, Waka Flocka Flame, Twin Limb, LANY, Giraffage, JD McPherson, COIN, Beach Slang, and many more.
The festival will take place July 14-16 at Waterfront Park in Downtown Louisville, Kentucky. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on the festival website here. VIP and travel packages will also be available, with single day and late night passes available in the coming months. Payment Plan options return this year, along with a new ticketing option named “General Admission Plus” which includes access to an exclusive air conditioned lounge, private bar, and special entrance lane.
