Hangout Music Festival Surprise Drops 2017 Lineup

Since 2010, The Hangout Beach Music & Arts Festival has taken place in Gulf Shores, AL combining two of our favorite summer activities — music festivals and the beach. Taking place May 19-21, 2017, the destination festival boasts 6 stages including two main stages located directly on the sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico. Since the festival joined forces with Coachella’s Goldenvoice two years ago, organizers have taken advantage of the ability to drop their lineup pre-Christmas while other festivals are restrained from announcing before Coachella does in early January due to artist contracts with the west coast festival.

Headlining in 2017 will be Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean, Twenty One Pilots, and Chance The Rapper. Other highlights include Weezer, Sigur Ros, MGMT, Dillon Francis, Band of Horses, The Head and the Heart, Tory Lanez, Franz Ferdinand, A$AP Ferg, Young The Giant, Mac DeMarco, Local Natives, Warpaint, Rüfüs Du Sol, Lil Yachty, Shaggy (!), Mutemath, Bob Moses, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and more pop-EDM than any college kid could possibly “rage” to.

Tickets will go on sale this Thursday, December 1 at 11AM CST and can be purchased on the festival website here. Payment plan options as well as VIP tickets and Thursday “kickoff” party tickets will also be available. Be sure to follow Hangout Music Festival on Facebook and Twitter for any future announcements.
