Raleigh’s Hopscotch Music Festival released the initial lineup for the 8th annual edition making it the biggest to date. Expanding to 4 days, more than 120 artists are to take the stage in various venues across the city of Raleigh, NC September 7-10, 2017.
Topping the bill are headlining sets from Solange, Future Islands, Run the Jewels, Big Boi (making up a previously cancelled appearance from 2013), Angel Olsen, and Margo Price. The rest of the stacked lineup is as diverse as the headliners. From the Americana to metal to experimental to hip-hop to electronic music, to straight rock. Big font to small, there is something for everyone.
Highlights from this year include: Hurray For The Riff Raff, PWR BTTM, Mount Eerie, Preoccupations (FKA Viet- Cong), Richard Lloyd (of Television), Sound of Ceres, freshly reformed The Make-Up, Cloud Nothing, King Woman, Cherry Glazerr, Naked Naps, and more.
