Music Festival To Offer Free Entry For Permanent Advertising

Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Music Festival is taking an unconventional approach to advertising their event, by asking patrons to permanently tattoo the festival logo on their bodies. Do so and you’ll be granted free admission to the music festival all weekend — and possibly for life. The tattoo shown above is that of Shaky Knees founder and curator, Tim Sweetwood. I mean, if you are really passionate about music festivals and a fan of ink, this could be a pretty sweet deal especially considering big name acts like The Strokes, Pixies, The Avett Brothers, Tame Impala, Interpol, Wilco, and Neutral Milk Hotel are all set to perform this year.

Don’t even think about trying to fake it though. You’ll be required to show festival organizers your permanent ink and have it verified in order to gain entry. You must be 18 years or older and the tattoo must be at least 40mm in diameter. You can get more info on the Shaky Knees Instagram page here. Not a fan of permanent ink on your body? Tickets to Shaky Knees Music Festival are still on sale and can be purchased here. See the full 2015 lineup below.
