Chicago’s favorite music festival that doesn’t end with “looza”, Riot Fest will return to Douglas Park September 15-17, 2017. Previous year’s have seen the festival expand to cities like Toronto and Denver, however with the recent unfortunate passing of festival partner and producer Sean McKeough, organizers have decided to scale back and put all their focus on their flagship festival in Chicago, IL.
The 2017 edition of Riot Fest will feature headlining performances from Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, and the exclusive reunion of punk icon’s Jawbreaker after the band split 21 years ago. Big names like New Order, Wu-Tang Clan, Prophets of Rage, Paramore, M.I.A., and a Mike D DJ Set also appear on this year’s lineup.
Other highlights include A Day To Remember, Gogol Bordello, Taking Back Sunday, Vic Mensa, TV On The Radio, Dirty Heads, Ministry, Dinosaur Jr., Bad Brains, New Found Glory, FIDLAR, Pennywise, Death From Above 1979, Action Bronson, X, Built To Spill, Peaches, The Orwells, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Say Anything, Bayside, Minus The Bear, Liars, GWAR, Shabazz Palaces, Andrew W.K., Fishbone, Tobacco, Beach Slang, Downtown Boys, and tons more.
3-Day GA tickets are currently on sale for $169 and can be purchased on the festival website. Layaway, VIP, and Super VIP options are also available.
