The first wave lineup was officially announced today for Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, the brand new major music festival coming to Florida in 2016. The 3-day camping festival will take place March 4-6 in Okeechobee, FL at Sunshine Grove and feature 80+ musical acts across 5 stages. The new music festival is the latest vision from former Superfly producer and current COO of Soundslinger Paul Peck. In previous years, Paul was responsible for curating the yearly Superjam performances at Bonnaroo each summer.
Headliners for Okeechobee will be Mumford & Sons, Kendrick Lamar, and Skrillex. Other highlights include Future, Miguel, Fetty Wap, Big Grams, Grace Potter, Jason Isbell, Big Gigantic, RL Grime, Portugal. The Man, Bonobo, Gramatik, Shpongle, Four Tet, Dr. Dog, Rhye, Youth Lagoon, Deer Tick, X Ambassadors, Hundred Waters, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Joywave, Shabazz Palaces, Swimm, and tons more. And of course the festival will have its own unique Superjam named “Powow!”, featuring yet to be announced special guests.
Tickets are on sale now starting at $249.50 for a 3-Day GA Pass that includes camping. Eternal Sunshine VIP Experience Passes are also available that include VIP viewing areas, air-conditioned restrooms, exclusive express entrance, and the Sanctuary Lounge featuring shaded areas with comfortable furniture, complimentary snacks and a cash bar.
