Riot Fest Releases First Wave 2016 Lineups For Both Chicago Carnival & Denver Rodeo

Riot Fest 2016, a music festival featuring the best of punk, rock, alternative, metal and hip-hop just announced their lineups for Chicago and Denver. Riot Fest was founded in 2005 in Chicago and since then has expanded to Toronto, and Denver. This year, Riot Fest and Rodeo will take place in Denver at the National Western Complex September 2nd-4th, whereas Riot Fest and Carnival will be hosted in Chicago’s Douglas Park two weeks later on September 16th-18th. Past Riot Fest lineups have featured major acts including: No Doubt, Modest Mouse, Iggy Pop, Snoop Dogg, The Cure, System of a Down, Pixies, Weezer, and Slayer just to name a few.

Artists topping the first phase of the Riot Fest and Rodeo in Denver lineup include: The Original Misfits, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie, Jane’s Addiction, Sleater-Kinney, Nas and Deftones. Also performing in Denver will be: Fitz & The Tantrums, NOFX, Bad Religion, Thursday, Sleigh Bells, Suicidal Tendencies and many more. The headliners for Riot Fest and Carnival in Chicago features a few of the same headliners as the Denver festival plus other excellent artists including: The Original Misfits, Morrisey, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie, Rob Zombie, Social Distortion, and Brand New. Along with The Specials, Jimmy Eat World, Decendents, Pierce the Veil, All Time Low, and Underoath.  Because this is only the first phase of the lineup release, the poster contains various empty spaces throughout, which will eventually reveal the entirety of this awesome festival.
