Seattle, WA’s Bumbershoot Music Festival will celebrate their 46th anniversary this Labor Day Weekend, September 2-4, 2016 at the Seattle Center. The 3-day music festival will feature over 140 musicians, comedians, and artists performing across a dozen stages across the 74-acre festival site.
Headliners for the 2016 festival include Seattle’s own Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Death Cab For Cutie, Tame Impala, & Kygo. Other exciting notables include G-Eazy, Pretty Lights, Halsey, Porter Robinson, Bryson Tiller, Run The Jewels, Billy Idol, ZHU, Fetty Wap, Father John Misty, Explosions In The Sky, Andrew Bird, Tyler The Creator, Anderson.Paak, Kamasi Washington, Jai Wolf, Cashmere Cat, Bob Moses, St. Lucia, Zella Day, Jagwar Ma, White Denim, Joywave, and tons more.
“Bumbershoot is Seattle’s Festival, which, to me, means it’s the first of its kind in the region and the one that has held steady for multiple generations,” said AEG’s Vice President of Talent and Bumbershoot Booker Chad Queirolo. “Same grounds, similar feel to when I was a kid attending in the 80’s and 90’s. Beyond music, we still have the art, the film, the comedy, and all the weirdo elements that have made it what it’s famous for. On top of that, and aside from being Seattle Centric, it’s one of the first American festivals and one of the longest running fests. That…is cool.”
Passes for Bumbershoot go on sale Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m PT and can be purchased here. 3-Day GA passes start at $180, while Gold and VIP options will also be available. Be sure to follow Bumbershoot on Facebook and Twitter for future news and announcements. See the full 2016 lineup below.
