The same Sloss Furnace that began producing iron over 100 years ago and helped develop the city of Birmingham, AL will now be a backdrop to the city’s newest music festival, Sloss Music & Arts Festival, taking place July 18-19. The 2-day festival, produced by AC Entertainment (Bonnaroo/Forecastle) and Red Mountain Entertainment (Bayfest/Beale St. Music Festival), will feature 30+ acts across 3 stages along with craft beer and a food court curated by Jim N’ Nick’s BBQ.
The Avett Brothers, Modest Mouse, Band of Horses, and Primus top the 2015 lineup. Other highlights include Birmingham’s own St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Cage The Elephant, Young The Giant, Lord Huron, Tyler, The Creator, Purity Ring, First Aid Kit, Manchester Orchestra, Big Gigantic, Sturgill Simpson, The New Pornographers, Robert DeLong, Milo Greene, and more.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 27th at 11AM EST and can be purchased on the festival website here. Four levels of GA passes will be available, starting at only $105 and up to $150 if purchased at the festival, as well as VIP and Iron Passes.
