‘In Small Print’ is a new editorial series highlighting some of the exciting up-and-coming acts that you may have overlooked towards the bottom of a music festival lineup.

Bob Moses is an extraordinary live electronic band based out of New York City, by way of Vancouver, British Columbia. The duo comprised of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vance formed in 2012 and released their first two EP’s “Hands To Hold” and “Far From The Tree” in October of 2012 and 2013 on Brooklyn based label Scissor & Thread. Their live take on melodic down tempo dance music was a breathe of fresh air at the time in a scene dominated by repetitive big house producers.

In 2014 the group signed to Domino Records, releasing their 3rd EP “First To Cry” which began getting the duo international attention, even scoring the band a Top 20 Live Acts recognition from Resident Advisor in 2014 and 2015.

On September 18, 2015 Bob Moses released their debut LP “Days Gone By” which received almost universal positive feedback from the online music community, further expanding the band’s exposure and leading to appearances on BBC 1’s Essential Mix, KCRW, and even The Ellen Show after Ellen heard one of their tracks while driving and hand picked them to perform on her show.

Fans of acts like Moderat and Darkside will undoubtedly find themselves obsessed with the euphoric dancing required at one of Bob Moses’ live shows.

Listen to the band’s latest LP “Days Gone By” on Spotify or purchase it on iTunes. You can currently find Bob Moses on the following 2016 North American music festival lineups:
