They call Nashville the “Music City” for a reason, as yet another music festival invades the growing southern city. The inaugural SoundHarvest Music Festival will be a 1-Day event taking place on the Parthenon Lawn at Centennial Park, Saturday October 17th. The enormous full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens, Greece will act as the backdrop to the festival’s main stage.
Headlining will be psych-rockers The Flaming Lips. A full lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks. “We noticed the changing music scene in Nashville and realized the city didn’t have a unique festival focused around rock and pop”, said Festival Director Monica Copciac.
Tickets are only $45 in advance and $55 at the gates. A limited amount of VIP tickets are available that offer festival patrons private viewing areas, catering, an exclusive bar, and private restrooms. Be sure to follow SoundHarvest on Facebook or Twitter to be notified when a full lineup is revealed.
