Governors Ball Music Festival will once again take over Randall’s Island Park in the heart of New York City the weekend of June 2-4, 2017. The Founders Entertainment & Live Nation produced festival is only in it’s seventh year but has slowly progressed from a 1-Day event to a 3-Day music festival that in 2014 won Festival Of The Year from Consequence of Sound. In a city with a history of failing festivals, and a competitive east coast festival market, it’s been impressive watching Governors Ball grow up into one of North America’s premiere music festival destinations.

Headlining this year will be Tool, Chance The Rapper, and Phoenix. Other exciting names at Governors Ball Music Festival this year include Childish Gambino, Lorde, Flume, Wu-Tang Clan, Cage The Elephant, Mark Ronson vs Kevin Parker, Beach House, Schoolboy Q, Air, The Avalanches, Phantogram, Franz Ferdinand, Banks, A$AP Ferg, Local Natives, Mac DeMarco, Rufus Du Sol, YG, Parquet Courts, Bleachers, Royal Blood, Charles Bradley, Danny Brown, Kehlani, Warpaint, Car Seat Headrest, Skepta, Francis and the Lights, The Range, Zane Lowe, The Orwells, Roosevelt and tons more.

Impressed by this year’s lineup and ready to snag your ticket? Passes are available this Friday, January 6th at 12PM EST on the festival’s website here. Make sure you’re following Governors Ball on Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram for future announcements. See the full 2017 lineup below.
