With headlining performances by Neil Young + Promise of the Real, Kendrick Lamar and Sam Smith, the inaugural WayHome Music and Arts has already spoiled music fans with one of the deepest and most diverse lineups of the festival season. But now, in partnership with Taste of Toronto and Drake Hotel Properties, WayHome has classed up the proceedings even further, and lifted the velvet curtain to unveil one of the most posh VIP festival experiences of the summer.
If you love music festivals, but find yourself worrying about dirty shoes, long walks to stages, or the logistical nightmare of packing a cooler full of oysters, WayHome now has you covered.
The Buckingham Palace of the WayHome kingdom, the WayHome VIP lounge, will offer cuisine and comfort in a beautifully restored barn from the 1920s, set right beside the main stage. VIP ticket-holders will enjoy fare from five different Drake mini-restaurants, ranging from the Drake Café for your early morning granola and coffee fix, to Fish Camp, which will offer freshly-shucked oysters, fish ‘n’ grits and all that pimp shit. Also available will be Drake BBQ, with outta bounds grilled meats and fixins, Drake Fiesta, for taco time temptations and Drake Snacks to satiate all those late-night ice-cream cravings. The Drake mixology team will also be on hand to shake more pleasure for VIP guests, through carefully-concocted cocktails and premium wine.
As if the dangerously luxurious culinary offerings weren’t enough, WayHome VIP ticket-holders will also enjoy the closest stage viewing possible, the most premium tent locations, a massage lounge, photo booths, complimentary coffee, fruit and beverages, sneaker cleaners, and of course, air-conditioned restrooms and showers. So fresh and so clean, indeed.
Check out all that the freshly unveiled WayHome VIP program has to offer here. Even the site is snazzy!
The party will start a few weeks earlier, at Taste of Toronto, where ticket-holders will snack on food from Drake restaurants among other top Toronto foodie havens, as well as premiere offerings from top international chefs. While Taste will take care of the food, WayHome will curate a live music stage, where the tunes are sure to be just as tasty as the chow. Taste of Toronto runs July 2nd to July 5th at Fort York, and tickets and more information can be found here.
WayHome Music and Arts goes down in Oro-Medonte, Ontario from July 24th to July 26th. Get your tickets and all information right here, and don’t forget to enter our contest to win a pair of free passes!
